Dr. Joe Magrath and Frank Brady started Great Plains Company
1968:
Marlin Springer joins Great Plains Company staff
Early 70’s:
Dr. Magrath acquired Brady's shares in the company and renamed it Magrath Company Inc.
1972:
Fluidfeeder with crimp style valve introduced
1975:
Stock Prod introduced
1976:
O-No-More introduced to aid in assuring calf adoption by natural or foster mother
1978:
Bovine Esophageal Feeder (B.E.F) launched
1985:
Obstetrical Calf Straps introduced to aid in calving
1988:
Magrath Transfer Needle introduced. This needle allows a better grip when transferring vaccines
1989:
Nipple Fluidfeeder was introduced to the Fluidfeeder line
1990:
Marlin Springer bought Magrath Company Inc. from Dr. Magrath and operated it under the name Springer Magrath Company.
The new style of Fluidfeeder was also introduced. This model is a gravity feed with no crimp valve.
1998:
Cattle Pump System introduced
2005:
Gallon Fluidfeeder brought to market
2007:
Frandsen Corporation purchases Springer Magrath Company
2011:
Springer Magrath moves to Glencoe, MN
